Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Airly With Grace.
Duke Of Airly and Curt Lee were quick to begin. Sight To See was slow to begin. Sight To See eased approaching the first turn. Sight To See checked off Minter Bee Star on the first turn. Riddles and Airly With Grace collided on the first turn checking Airly With Grace. Duke Of Airly galloped on Curt Lee on the first turn.
Sight To See was vetted and after being re-vetted following event 8, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Presutto, the trainer of the greyhound Sight To See regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the first turn. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Sight To See with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Presutto pleaded not guilty to the charge, Sight To See was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
