Akina Archer and Akina Blaze were slow to begin. Hird From Bucks stumbled soon after the start and lost ground. Once A Secret checked off Aston Kenji soon after the start. Lakeview Lacy and Aston Kenji collided approaching the first turn. Lakeview Lacy and Aston Kenji collided on the first turn checking Lakeview Lacy and Once A Secret. Akina Blaze checked off Ado Carr on the first turn. Hird From Bucks checked off Once A Secret on the first turn. Ado Carr galloped on Whodat Dare on the first turn checking both greyhounds; Whodat Dare lost ground as a result. Ado Carr, Hird From Bucks and Whodat Dare collided approaching the winning post.
Whodat Dare was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a minor abrasion to the left achilles. No stand down period was imposed.
