Steward's Report
Milo Allen and Dyna Varsity were slow to begin.
Dyna Waqa and Dyna Varsity collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn. Dyna Quark, Dyna Aakil, Dyna Turner and Dyna Yappy collided approaching the first turn. Dyna Quark and Dyna Aakil collided approaching the second turn. Milo Allen checked off Dyna Aakil on the second turn checking Dyna Waqa and Dyna Turner. Dyna Quark and Dyna Aakil collided on the third turn and again on the home turn. Dyna Yappy checked off Dyna Aakil entering the home straight.
Dyna Aakil was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right sesamoid and right shoulder, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards issued a warning to Mr G Daily, the handler of Dyna Aakil regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.
A sample was taken from Dyna Quark - the winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to Ms R. Church the handler of Dyna Quark and issued warning regarding the use of her mobile phone in the kennelling area pursuant to GAR 44.
