It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right sesamoid and right shoulder, a 7 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards issued a warning to Mr G Daily, the handler of Dyna Aakil regarding the greyhound’s racing manners on the home turn.

Quara's Flick crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Weeona Bont.  Weeona Bont and Tritt Tritt collided approaching the first turn. Dyna Uni checked off Tritt Tritt approaching the first turn. Dyna Uni and Kiss Me Razley collided approaching the first turn. Kiss Me Razley checked off Tritt Tritt on the first turn checking Callum's Son. Kiss Me Razley and Callum's Son collided on the second turn checking Callum's Son severely checking Kiss Me Razley and Dyna Uni. Tritt Tritt and Dyna Bonnay collided on the second turn. The judges inadvertently semaphored the wrong numbers, this was corrected to 3-6-7-4 before the all clear was given.

Come On Charlize and Black Signature collided on the first turn. All Inn Baz checked off Reiko Ablett approaching the second turn. Oronsay checked off Snags Mckenzie in the back straight. Dorrigo Bale and Oronsay collided in the back straight. Oronsay and Black Signature collided on the third turn. All Inn Baz and Black Signature collided on the home turn and again in the home straight checking All Inn Baz. Snags Mckenzie checked off Come On Charlize approaching the winning post.

Following the event Dorrigo Bale collapsed in the catching pen. As a result the greyhound was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound experienced a (probable seizure). No stand down penalty was imposed. Stewards spoke to Mr C. Capuano, the trainer of Dorrigo Bale and advised him that acting in accordance with GAR 74, Stewards direct that Dorrigo Bale must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R Britton with regard to the length of time Tornado Tears has had between racing. Tornado Tears last raced on 22.09.18.  Mr Britton advised that Torando Tears is returning to racing from a fractured right hock. 

Poco Dorado, Black Impala and Tornado Tears were quick to begin. Rippin' Sam was slow to begin.

Barcali, Double Gee and Blue Moon Rising collided soon after the start checking Barcali and Double Gee. Poco Dorado checked off the heels of Double Gee on the first turn checking Tornado Tears. Barcali galloped on the heels of Double Gee on the first turn. Tornado Tears was held up on the fourth turn.
