Steward's Report
Ikon Parker and Tijuana Icon were quick to begin. Westworth and Vitaliser were slow to begin.
Early Express and Bigtime Bruce collided on the first turn. Westworth galloped on the heels of Early Express which shifted out and collided with Bigtime Bruce on the first turn checking Westworth and Bigtime Bruce. Ikon Parker and Tijuana Icon collided approaching the home turn.
A post-race sample was taken from Vitaliser - the winner of the event.
Stewards spoke to registered person Mr Alan Hunter after he entered the kenneling area with a coffee cup, Mr Hunter explained that the cup was empty and that he had not passed a rubbish bin prior to entering the kennels. Stewards reminded Mr Hunter of his responsilbilities in relation to entering kennels with food or drink (GAR 41(5)).
