A pre-race sample was taken from Chillby.
Chillby was slow to begin.
Cozi Fitz and Jack's On Deck collided approaching the first turn. Unuseable and Where's Jamal collided on the first turn checking Unuseable. Sonny's Tas and Clovalley rang collided approaching the home turn checking Where's Jamal and Chillby, Chillby lost ground as a result. Unusable and Sonny's Tas collided entering the home straight.

Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Ms J. Ward, the representative of Master Reid regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. Master Reid last raced on 30th July,2018. Ms Ward stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a change in kennels. Pursuant to GAR 77A, Master Reid trialled over the 390m from box 1, weight 32.5kgs, the greyhound was placed fourth in a field of four. The time of the trial was 22.78, the greyhound was beaten a margin of 30 lengths. Master Reid was Not Cleared.
