Zipping Colette failed to pursue the lure with due commitment soon after the start, checking Dee Jakit. Zipping Colette checked off Krisbar Immy on the first turn. Nana Denise raced wide on home turn and again in the home straight.

A sample was taken from Dyna Helena - the winner of the event.

Stewards spoke to Ms. M Shaw, the handler of the greyhound Zipping Colette regarding the greyhounds racing manners soon after the start. Zipping Colette was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left and right pencil muscles, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged  Zipping Colette with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Ms Shaw pleaded guilty to the charge, Zipping Colette was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Earth Angel was slow to begin.

Earth Angel contacted the running rail on first turn, losing ground as a result. Super Panda chcked off Chief Long Face on the first turn. Mount Ida Miss and Dyna Hannah collided on the first turn, checking Dyna Hannah. Mount Ida Miss brushed the running rail on the home turn, checking Mount Ida Miss and Dyna Hannah. Mount Ida Miss and Dyna Hannah collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post, checking Dyna Hannah.

Earth Angel was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Geopark Ruby was a late scratching at 6.23pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to an injury to the left back muscle.  A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Serendipity Man and Oh So Rowdy were slow to begin.

Molly Chapta stumbled soon after the start, losing ground as a result. Serendipity Man, Oh So Rowdy and Molly Chapta collided approaching the first turn, checking Serendipity Man and Oh So Rowdy. Fawn Nova and Molly Chapta collided on the first turn, checking Fawn Nova and Serendipity Man and severely checking Molly Chapta.

Chapta Lee crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Glayva, Glayva stumbled as a result.  Zipping Buster checked off Shield Of Dreams on first turn. Zipping Buster galloped on the heels of Chapta Lee approaching the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Glayva and Chapta Lee collided on the home turn, checking Zipping Buster and Chapta Lee.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M Lloyd, the trainer of Pumpernickel  regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Pumpernickel last raced on 18th July 2018. Mr. Lloyd  stated that the greyhound  was returning to racing after a right hock injury.  Mr. Lloyd also declared a new weight of 34.4kg  for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Pumpernickel last raced at 32.7kg.

A pre race sample was taken from Pandora's Comet.

Deano's Mojo and Con Rod were slow to begin.
