A pre-race sample was taken from Xera Bale.
Liebig Street and Zera Bale collided approaching the first turn, checking Liebig Street. Idabelle Bale raced wide entering the front straight. Vrontios and Hit The Highway collided on the fifth turn, checking Chill Out Julie.
Hit The Highway was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left fore dewclaw, a 3 day standdown period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Dyna Weslyn - the winner of the event.
