Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr A. Graham, the trainer of Cosmic Ann regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Cosmic Ann last raced on3rd July 2018. Mr. Graham stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after an extended spell. Mr Graham.also declared a new weight of 29.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).Cosmic Ann last raced at 28.3kg.
Line Trike was quick to begin.
Wackadooka was slow to begin.
Cosmic Ann and Dyna Diedre collided soon after the start checking Dyna Diedre. Cosmic Ann and Winlock Intent collided approaching the home turn checking Winlock Intent and Dyna Diedre, Dyna Diedre fell as a result, checking Wackadooka. Cosmic Ann raced wide in the home straight.
Dyna Diedre was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left monkey muscle, right shoulder, left thigh and right pencil, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
