Jen Shen and Pillar Creek were slow to begin.
Lush Life checked off Mustang Bay approaching the first turn. Ocean Bay and Pillar Creek collided approaching the home turn checking Ocean Bay. Ocean Bay raced wide in the home straight.
Jen Shen which trailed the field, was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right groin, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
