Eden Lass was slow to begin.
Kiowa Kaema and Bomber's Baby collided soon after the start checking Kiowa Kaema and severely checking Bomber's Baby. Aeroplane Hank and Little Pookie collided on the first turn checking Little Pookie.
Bomber's Baby was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right hind leg. No stand down period was imposed.
