Fernando's Flare was presented for a vet assessment at the close of kennelling after the trainer failed to have the greyhound vetted at today's meeting at The Meadows. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Quara's Yoshi was vetted following the event due to a fall after the winning post.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the head and right foreleg and injuries to the left shoulder and left triangle, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Eye Dunno was vetted following the event at the trainer's request. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right and left monkey muscles, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Bomber's Baby was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained spike wounds to the right hind leg.  No stand down period was imposed.

Mr A. Barbara was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound Chief Command pursuant to GAR 33.

Mr I Chircop, trainer of Steve's Uggboot declared a new weight of 35.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Steve's Uggboot last raced at 33.6kg.

Stewards spoke to Mr I Chircop, the trainer of Found In Quartz regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Found In Quartz last raced on 9th June 2018. Mr Chircop stated that the greyhound was new to the kennel.
