Nerve Lika Thief and Leopardstown were slow to begin.  Leopardstown was checked off Gotham Queen soon after the start.  Hunkapapa and Monster Jam Jack collided on the first turn.  Lyka Skywalker  was checked off Hunkapapa entering the home straight.  Full Tilt and Hunkapapa collided entering the home straight checking Full Tilt.  Lyka Skywalker, Gotham Queen and Super Tokachi collided in the home straight checking Gotham Queen.  Monster Jam Jack raced wide in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Sofra the trainer of Global Impact regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Global Impact last raced on 23/03/2018.  Mr. Sofra stated that Global Impact was returning to racing following an injured right stopper and a spell. 

Nostimo and Global Impact were slow to begin.  Nostimo and Tezzalenko collided on the first turn checking Nostimo and Cosa Bona.  Weeona Pearl and Cosa Bona collided on the first turn checking Weeona Pearl.  Cosa Bona raced wide in the home straight.

Wilburn and Penny Pop collided soon after the start.  Crickets Dash and Wilburn collided approaching the first turn.  Wilburn and Really Magic collided on the first turn.  Wilburn was checked off Mepunga Bonnie approaching the home turn severely checking Really Magic, Really Magic fell as a result.  Wilburn raced wide on the home turn.  Etiquette and Crickets Dash collided in the home straight checking Etiquette.

Really Magic was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

A pre-race sample was taken from Jacqui Shoeshone.

Azalea was quick to begin.  Dyna Drew was checked off Secret Message soon after the start.  Jacqui Shoshone faltered approaching the first turn and fell.  Alon crossed in approaching the first turn checking Secret Message, Sparky Neveelk and Demand A Panda.  Sparky Neveelk and Chardy collided on the first turn.

Jacqui Shoshone was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.  Trainer Mr. D. Crawford declined his option to have the greyhound revetted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. D. Crawford the trainer of the greyhound Jacqui Shoshone.  Stewards deemed the performance of Jacqui Shoshone unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71 Stewards directed that Jacqui Shoshone must perform a satisfactory trial all tracks before any future nomination will be accepted.  Stewards also requested he advise them as soon as practicable of anything that may have effected the running of the greyhound in this event in accordance with GAR 75.

Mayor Digby and Trim City collided soon after the start checking Trim City.  Master Faith and Velocity Whisper collided on the first turn checking Velocity Whisper.  Mayor Digby and Loaded collided on the first turn checking Loaded.  Master Faith and Perrie The Fairy collided several times on the first turn.  Mayor Digby and Duke Of Burnley collided on the first turn checking Mayor Digby.  Velocity Whisper and Kimani collided approaching the home turn.  Trim City galloped on Loaded approaching the home turn.  Perrie The Fairy and Duke Of Burnley collided in the home straight.

Loaded was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a split webbing on the left hind foot, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
