Flossing shifted in soon after the start checking Winning Broke and Limburg Will.  Sweet As Emm, Penta Allen and She's For Us collided approaching the first turn checking She's For Us.  She's For Us and Winning Broke collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Stevie Dee brushed the running rail on the second turn and lost ground checking Limburg Will.  Ohana Lad checked off Penta Allen on the third turn.  Winning Broke checked off Ohana Lad approaching the home turn.  Flossing and Penta Allen collided on the home turn checking both greyhounds.  She's For Us and Ohana Lad collided entering the home straight. 

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Moore, the trainer of Red Hot Chevy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Red Hot Chevy last raced on 14 June 2018 and is returning from a spell, Mr R. Moore also declared a new weight of 28.0kgs for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2).  Red Hot Chevy last raced at 26.0kgs.

Faraday, Bob's Brew and Destini Jaguar were slow to begin.

Honeysuckle Jim checked off Star Rad soon after the start.  Honeysuckle Jim checked off Dyna Quail on the first turn checking Faraday.

Tom Riddle was slow to begin.

Nunniong Plain and Who's Got Class collided soon after the start.  Maximum Brew, Panadero King and Fifty Dollar collided on the first turn severely checking Panadero King, Fifty Dollar and Tom Riddle. 

A pre-race sample was taken from Zipping Olympia.

Dr. Mino was slow to begin.

Zelzer Allen, Zipping Olympia, Rixy Ya Pest and Mepunga Molly collided on the first turn checking Zipping Olympia, Rixy Ya Pest and Mepunga Molly.  Zipping Olympia checked off Zelzer Allen on the second turn checking Rixy Ya Pest.  Zelzer Allen and Dr. Mino collided entering the back straight checking Zelzer Allen.  Zipping Olympia eased in the back straight checking Zelzer Allen:  Zelzer Allen and Zipping Olympia collided repeatedly from that point and took no further competitive part in the event. 

Zipping Olympia was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Stewards spoke to Mr S. Smith, the representative of the greyhound Zipping Olympia regarding the greyhound’s racing manners entering the back straight, which visible eased and continued to do so throughout the remainder of the event.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Zipping Olympia with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Smith pleaded guilty to the charge, Zipping Olympia was found guilty and suspended the greyhound for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Lully Singh and Bro's Little Gem were quick to begin.  Straitline Willy was slow to begin.

Whiney Whine checked off Straitline Willy on the first turn.  Zipping Galon and Coco Spectre collided on the first turn.  Zipping Galon and Bro's Little Gem collided on the second turn.  Coco Spectre and Dobre collided on the second turn and again on the third turn. Lully Singh and Bro's Little Gem collided repeatedly from the fourth turn and approaching the home turn.  Lully Singh, Bro's Little Gem and Midnight Mystery collided approaching the home turn. 

Stewards spoke to Mr B. Klemke after the greyhound Extra Gear was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process. Mr Klemke was issued with a warning and reminded when kennelling he ensures greyhounds are kennelled in accordance with kennel procedure. 

Stewards spoke to Club Officials and asked them to remind all kennel staff of their responsibilities to ensure that all greyhounds are correctly kennelled in future, after the greyhound Extra Gear was placed in the incorrect kennel during the kennelling process.

Reality Hawk shifted in soon after the start checking Tritt Tritt, Extra Gear and Mepunga Zeus.  Folding Green and Mepunga Zeus collided approaching the first turn.  Tritt Tritt galloped on Extra Gear on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Folding Green, Mepunga Zeus and Extra Gear collided on the second turn checking Extra Gear.  Folding Green galloped Tritt Tritt on the third turn severely checking Folding Green.  Alpha Georgiou and Apache Flame collided on the home turn.

Winnie Allen was a late scratching at 2.14pm due to a laceration to the stopper (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. Stewards spoke to Mr T. Dailly the representative of Winnie Allen and accepted the explanation for the late scratching. 

Destini Ferrari, Destini Cavalier, Idabelle Bale, Black Impala and Beckham collided on the first turn checking Destini Ferrari, Idabelle Bale and Black Impala, Black Impala raced wide as a result.  Destini Cavalier and Beckham collided entering the front straight.  Destini Cavalier and Light The Track collided approaching the second turn and again on the third turn.  Light The Track checked off Destini Cavalier approaching the fourth turn checking Idabelle Bale and Beckham.

Lady Mikado and Ruby's Image collided on the first turn.  Libby's Dream galloped on Ruby's Image on the first turn checking Libby's Dream.  Beanbag checked off Vivian Shiraz on the second turn checking Garrido.  Fleet Trades and Real Obsession collided on the third turn checking Fleet Trades and Lady Mikado.  Fleet Trades, Ruby's Image and Lady Mikado collided on the home turn.  Lady Mikado and Ruby's Image collided entering the home straight.

Vivian Shiraz was vetted following the event after fall in the catching pen.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist sprain and left monkey muscle injuries, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
