Steward's Report
An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Ethan Zane engaged in this event on 25 October, 2018 pursuant to GAR 79A.
A pre-race sample was taken from Kimura upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
A pre race sample was taken from Franklin Allen.
Lady Nina was slow to begin.
Arachnophobia and Franklin Allen collided at the 300m mark. Franklin Allen and Tomal collided at the 200m mark. Frankilin Allen checked off Arachnophobia approaching 100m mark.
Silver Sky was re-vetted prior to the running of this event after the greyhound momentarily slipped it's collar and was passed fit to race.
Stewards spoke to Ms C. McMillan the trainer of Silver Sky and reminded her of her responsibilities in ensuring she has proper control of the greyhound at all times, pursuant GAR 27(1).
Tomal was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained abrasions to both hindlegs. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
