Steward's Report
Aston Geisha and Angel's Halo were quick to begin. Steorra was slow to begin. Angel's Halo, Selfless and Air Commander collided soon after the start. Steorra checked off Liberal Nunnio entering the back straight. Liberal Nunnio, Selfless and Air Command collided entering the back straight checking Selfless and Air Command. Steorra checked off Theme Tune approaching the home turn checking Air Command.
Steorra was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the lumbar muscles and both groins. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.
Stewards spoke with Mrs. J. Fullerton, representative of Steorra regarding the greyhound's perfomance. Mrs. Fullerton stated that the greyhound is lacking confidence and would benefit from a freshen up before trialling and then racing. Stewards noted her comments and took no further action.
