Little Samara was quick to begin.  Kuzma was slow to begin.  Iona Roby and Jebrynah Helios collided soon after the start checking Iona Roby.  Rik Lee and Jebrynah Helios collided approaching the first turn.  Fend Off, Cosmic Ollie and Little Samara collided on the first turn.  Cosmic Ollie and Little Samara collided on the first turn.  Cosmic Ollie was checked off Little Samara approaching the home turn checking Jebrynah Helios.  Kuzma and Iona Roby collided approaching the home turn.

A race day sample was taken from Blistering Betty.

Hurricane Craig and Super Spolly were slow to begin.  Super Spolly and Hollywood Nights collided soon after the start.  Tezzalenko and Aston Narita collided approaching the first turn.  Super Spolly galloped on Aston Narita on the first turn.  Blistering Betty and Darcon Flash raced wide in the home straight.  Habana City and Aston Narita collided approaching the winning post.

Hollywood Nights was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured left monkey muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.

Dyna Kara and Que Allen were slow to begin and collided on the first turn, home turn and again approaching the winning post.

A pre-race sample was taken from Manny Allen.

Modern Jagger was slow to begin.  Manny Allen, Riddles, Modern Jagger, Miss Gippsland and Audacious Grace collided soon after the start.  Daicos, Riddles and Miss Gippsland collided approaching the first turn checking Daicos and Riddles.  Start The Show, Manny Allen and Audacious Grace collided approaching the first turn.  Start The Show and Modern Jagger raced wide in the home straight.

Urana Vee Eight was slow to begin.  Duce Royal and Ringside collided soon after the start.  Prince Mikado, Ringside and Charlie Haze collided on the first turn checking Prince Mikado.  Rapanui Revival and Urana Vee Eight collided on the first turn.  Prince Mikado was checked off Rapanui Revival on the home turn and failed to pursue the lure colliding with Potere as a result severely checking both greyhounds.  Prince Mikado and Potere raced wide in the home straight.

Potere was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no injury apparent.

Stewards spoke to Ms. M. Barber the trainer of the greyhound Prince Mikado regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn.  Prince Mikado was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right dew claw, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1) Stewards charged Prince Mikado with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment by reason of injury.  Ms. Barber pleaded not guilty to the charge, Prince Mikado was found guilty and Stewards directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Mallee Spring was slow to begin.  Inside Game, Ample Warning and Dyna Hunter collided soon after the start.  Data Star, Dyna Drew and Vienna Gypsy collided approaching the first turn.

A pre-race sample was taken from Memphis Sky.

Ruby's Image was quick to begin.  Garrido, Shady Tex and Little Big Shot collided on the first turn.  Shady Tex raced wide in the home straight.

Tolga was quick to begin.  General Missy and Master Faith collided soon after the start.  Hypo Chared, Tolga, General Missy and Master Faith collided approaching the first turn checking Hypo Chared and General  Missy.  Tolga and Wash Out collided on the home turn.

Mr. T. Howell was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure the registration card was produced for the greyhound July Allen pursuant to GAR 33.

July Allen and Fully Loaded were quick to begin.  Marcello galloped on July Allen on the first turn checking both greyhounds.
