Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Voodoo Hustler.
Blazing Lane was a late scratching at 10:40 pm on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon, due to illness. A 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Saintly Jack, Merl's Angel, Voodoo Hustler, Crackerjack Ale and Jackson's Girl collided soon after the start, severely checking Crackerjack Ale which failed to finish. Merl's Angel, Saintly Jack, Noonbarra Storm and Luck's Run Out collided soon after the start. Noonbarra Storm, Saintly Jack and Merl's Angel collided on the first turn, checking Saintly Jack and Merl's Angel. Merl's Angel checked off Noonbarra Storm on the home turn, checking Saintly Jack. Jackson's Girl raced wide on the home turn and in the home straight.
Crackerjack Ale was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hindleg hock injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
