Stewards spoke to Ms. K.. Bravo, the representative of Bronelly Jet regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Bronelly Jet last raced on 26th May 2018.  Ms. Bravo stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left metatarsal injury.

Staying In Paris and Rockin' Joe collided soon after the start checking Rockin' Joe.  Zipping Galon, Bronelly Jet and Rockin' Joe collided entering the back straight causing Bronelly Jet to fall.  Trademark Rocky and Staying In Paris collided approaching the second turn checking Staying In Paris.

Bronelly Jet was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to its right sartorius muscle.  A 7 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was unable to be obtained from Champagne Luxe due to the handler failing to appear at the kennels by the appointed time.  A post race sample was subsequently taken.

Stewards spoke to Ms. D. Vigor, the representative of Champagne Luxe regarding her failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing.  Stewards charged Ms. Vigor with a breach of GAR 46(2) in that she failed to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound Chamapage Luxe.  Ms. Vigor was found guilty and fined $100.

Sports Gairn was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abraded left front paw and a spike wound to its right hind leg.  A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
