Steward's Report

Texas Blaze was slow to begin. Shimmy Dat Ray and Hardy's Banjo collided on the first turn checking Hardy's Banjo. Serendipity Gold and Shimmy Dat Ray collided on the first turn checking Shimmy Dat Ray. Hardy's Banjo and Texas Blaze collided approaching the second turn. Serendipity Gold raced wide in the back straight. Delaware County and Micky Rads collided on the second turn. Serendipity Gold, Micky Rads and Our Flying Laura collided approaching the home turn checking Our Flying Laura and Micky Rads. Shimmy Dat Ray and Our Flying Laura collided entering the home straight. Serendipity Gold raced wide in the home straight. Micky Rads and Texas Blaze collided in the home straight.

Micky Rads was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a minor abrasion to the right hind toe. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr P.Radstock the trainer of Micky Rads regarding the greyhound’s racing manners in the home straight. In making this decision Stewards spoke to Mr Radstock, were he stated that the greyhound normally races wide and that Texas Blaze was crossing to the inside rail causing both greyhounds to collide. Mr Radstock also stated that he will be giving the greyhound a spell.
