A pre-race sample was taken from Sukhoi Su.
Stagger Loot and Sukhoi Su were slow to begin. Dyna Jules, Platelayer and Invictus Clive collided soon after the start. Steorra and Invictus Clive collided approaching the first turn. Platelayer and Crymelon Phantom collided approaching the first turn, checking Crymelon Phantom. Dyna Jules and Invictus Clive collided approaching the home turn. Platelayer raced wide on the home turn. Sukhoi Su checked off Stagger Loot in the home straight.
Sukhoi Su, which performed below market expectations, was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
