Let's Run, Nitroniun and Canya Wilber were slow to begin.
Canya Wilber and Why Not Bazzar collided soon after the start. Penny Pop checked off Let's Run On the first turn. Penny Pop and Why Not Bazzar collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds. Let's Run, Penny Pop and Why Not Bazzar collided on the home turn checking all three greyhounds. Penny Pop and Why Not Bazzar collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
Penny Pop was vetted following the trainers request. It was reported that te greyhound sustained a right hind foot laceration, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
A post-race sample was taken from Charlott's Angel - winner of the event.
