Start The Show, Coffee Scroll and Psycho Millie were slow to begin.
Mercury Rising, Start The Show and Sweet Gabriella collided soon after the start. Psycho Millie and Rapid Belle Noir collided soon after the start. Mercury Rising and Coffee Scroll collided approaching the first turn. Mercury Rising checked off Sweet Gabriella approaching the first turn checking Santana. Santana checked off Mercury Rising on the first turn severely checking Santana. Sweet Gabriella and Coffee Scroll collided on the first turn checking Coffee Scroll. Coffee Scroll and Rapid Belle Noir collided approaching the second turn. Psycho Millie tailed off in the home straight. Santana raced wide in the home straight.
Psycho Millie was vetted and re-vetted following event 3. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mr B. Wellington, the trainer of the greyhound Psycho Millie. Stewards deemed the performance of Psycho Millie unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Psycho Millie must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
