Mr. S. Brincat, representative of Holiday Dancer declared a new weight of 23.1kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Holiday Dancer last raced at 21.6kg.

Bring The Spring was slow to begin.

Northern Bowler and Bring The Spring collided at the 300m mark. Bring The Spring checked off Spring Nugget at the 250m mark. Spring Nugget and Atarah collided at the 200m mark. Bring The Spring, Spring Nugget and Atarah collided at the 150m mark checking Spring Nugget. Holiday Dancer lost ground at the 150m mark.

Holiday Dancer was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist spain, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Janray Rastus and What Feeling were slow to begin.

Ballistic Lass and What Feeling collided soon after the start. What Feeling crossed to the outside at the 250m mark. She Ignites, Aunty Chris and Delta's Tiara collided approaching the 200m mark checking all three greyhounds. Janray Rastus crossed to the outside at the 150m mark causing She Ignites to race wide checking She Ignites and Aunty Chris. What Feeling clipped the heels of Ballistic Lass at the 150 m mark checking What Feeling. Janray Rastus and She Ignites collided several times from the 150m mark to approaching the winning post severely checking both greyhounds. Big Holiday checked off Delta's Tiara approaching the 100m mark checking Delta's Tiara. Aunty Chris eased approaching the winning post. Ballistic Lass checked off Janray Rastus approaching the winning post.

Aunty Chris was vetted and after being re-vetted following race 7, it was reported that there was no apparent injury found. 

Stewards spoke to Mr K. Kelly, the trainer of the greyhound Aunty Chris regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Aunty Chris with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr K. Kelly pleaded not guilty to the charge, Aunty Chris was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Covfefe and Further Dreamer collided soon after the start. Covfefe checked off Further Dreamer soon after the start and crossed to the outside. Tomac Buzzard, Shirdale Casey and Miss Walt collided at the 200m mark. Further Dreamer checked off Tomac Buzzard approaching the 50m mark and collided with Shirdale Casey, checking Further Dreamer.

A sample was taken from Vandebay - the winner of the event.

Miss Shieka was a late scratching at 11.03am due to the greyhound being on season (GAR 24). A 28 day stand down period was imposed.

Cosmic Sole and Hit 'N' Split collided approaching the 200m mark. Hit 'N' Split galloped on Rose Of Dyanna approaching the 150m mark severely checking both greyhounds. Bossy Caleb checked off My Names Schultz approaching the 50m mark. Campeon checked off Cosmic Sole approaching the winning post.

Guevara, Octo Flash and Zipping Hayne were slow to begin.

Going In Style, Zipping Hayne and Silver Sky collided soon after the start. Silver Sky checked off Going In Style at the 250m mark. Terrah Round checked off Going In Style at the 100m mark.

Striker Vardy stumbled after the box rise and was slow to begin (6 lengths). Our China Plate went up with the lids and was slow to begin.

Amlin Freddie checked off Samba King at the 200m mark. Able and Our China Plate collided at the 100m mark.

Striker Vardy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a superficial abrasion to the head.  No stand down period was imposed.

Monkey Mite and Dorothy Dawn collided soon after the start and again at the 300m mark. Jumbo Bale checked off Shakey Cougar at the 300m mark. Monkey Mite and Dorothy Dawn collided approaching the 250m mark. Jumbo Bale raced wide at the 250m mark checking Conde. Shakey Cougar and Lightning Parade collided at the 50m mark.

A pre-race sample was taken from Challis Sprite.

Zipping Boyd and Challis Sprite were to slow to begin.

Nut And Bolt and Lottie Biscotti collided soon after the start. Pinciotti and Bullocky Bill collided soon after the start. Challis Sprite galloped on the heels of Pinciotti at the 300m mark checking both greyhounds. Pinciotti and Nut And Bolt collided at the 250m mark checking Pinciotti. Bullocky Bill checked off Toss And Turn at the 200m mark. Toss And Turn checked off Lottie Biscotti at the 100m mark. Stewards noted that the muzzle of Pinciotti became dislodged during the running of the event.

Pinciotti was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained minor lacerations to the front and hind paws.  No stand down period was imposed.

Unusable, Surf In Vane and Hardaway Outlaw collided soon after the start. Oaklands and Unbackable collided soon after the start. Surf In Vane and Hardaway Outlaw collided at the 250m mark. Oaklands and Unbackable faltered at the 150m mark and tailed off. Unusable and Hardaway Outlaw collided at the 100m mark.

Oaklands was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the Left Quadricep and Pencil Muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Unbackable was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist sprain and right stopper tendon sprain, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Cut Snake was a late scratching at 10.25am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to a laceration to the bottom of the left hind paw.  A 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Aston Jynx and Bolare collided soon after the start. Miss Legality and Bolare collided at the 250m mark. Oliver Cruise crossed to the outside soon after the start checking Clouded Acorn. Clouded Acorn, Miss Legality and Bolare collided approaching the 200m mark checking Bolare and severely checking Clouded Acorn and Miss Legality.

Mossy Oak was slow to begin.

Senni Richard, Eggeb Mai, Big Mary and El Grand Richo collided approaching the 250m mark checking Senni Richard and Big Mary. Renegade and Dargo Dasher collided at the 250m mark checking Renegade, Dargo Dasher and Senni Richard. Ha Ha Gotcha and Eggeb Mai collided at the 100m mark. Dargo Dasher and El Grand Richo collided at the 50m mark.

El Grand Richo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
