Poke The Bear was slow to begin.
Notorious Mac, Poke The Bear and Degani collided on the first turn. My Redeemer and Black Opium collided on the first turn and again on the second turn. Dyna Harpa checked off West On Augie on the second turn severely checking Poke The Bear and Degani. Notorious Mac faded on the third turn. Poke The Bear checked off Dyna Harpa on the home turn.
A post-race urine and blood sample was taken from My Redeemer - winner of the event.
