A pre-race sample was taken from Riverdale Danger.
Subscapularis was very slow to begin (3L). Lost Love was quick to begin.
Shady Buck and Eau Rouge collided soon after the start. Ace Venture and Riverdale Danger collided soon after the start. Eau Rouge and Ace Ventura collided approaching the first turn. Shady Buck and Eau Rouge collided approaching the home turn, checking Shady Buck, causing Ace Venture and Shady Buck to collide. Riverdale Danger, Subscapularis and Shady Buck collided approaching the home turn, checking all three greyhounds. Shady Buck checked off Subscapularis approaching the home turn. Shady Buck raced wide in the home straight.
Riverdale Danger was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left hind, a fourteen day stand down period was imposed.
