Cheeky Chimp, Disgruntled and All Inn Tyler collided soon after the start checking Disgruntled which stumbled as a result. Cheeky Chimp and Rod Vader collided soon after the start checking Rod Vader. Kamchatka Lenny and Soda Geoff collided approaching the first turn checking Soda Geoff. All Inn Tyler and April Jay collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
Cheeky Chimp was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained split webbing to the left foreleg. A stand down period of 21 days was imposed.
