Go Gettem Bingo and Ballet Creek were slow to begin and collided soon after the start, checking Ballet Creek. Dominant Lomar, Jallet Jet, I'm Tipping Don and Dyna Helena collided on the first turn, checking I'm Tipping Don, Dominant Lomar and Dyna Helena. Dominant Lomar and I'm Tipping Don collided on the home turn. Miyagi Magic checked off Jalla Jet in the home straight. Dyna Helena and Wok Fried Yabby collided approaching the winning post.
Ballet Creek was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left foreleg laceration, a seven day stand down period was imposed.
