Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Dyna Carmen.
'Hold All Tickets' was declared so Stewards could review the replays of the event. After doing so Stewards were satisfied that no greyhound was affected by the attendant on the track with the fallen greyhound as the field approached the home turn and as such the all clear was declared.
Kiomara, Ayo Joy, Musketeer Oasis and Dyna Carmen collided approaching the first turn checking Kiomara. Dyna Carmen, Hoo Gur Affair and Rockin' Joe collided on the first turn checking Hoo Gur Affair and Rockin' Joe. Ayo Joy, Musketeer Oasis and Hoo Gur Affair collided on the first turn checking Musketeer Oasis and Zagati. Rockin' Joe, Zagati and Musketeer Oasis collided on the first turn, severely checking Musketeer Oasis, severely checking Zagati which fell as a result. Kiomara checked off Musketeer Oasis entering the front straight.
Zagati was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hock, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.
