Steward's Report
The Club Veterinary Surgeon examined Zade's Magic and no illness was detected. The greyhound was a late scratching at 6.04pm due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Margaret Salvatore was fined the sum of $100.
Stewards spoke to Mr A. Spiteri, the trainer of Regal Memphis regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Regal Memphis last raced on15 August 2018 and is returning from a right stopper bone injury.
Really Magic was quick to begin. Lucas Rose, Regal Memphis and Eduardo Rose were slow to begin.
Regal Memphis checked off Eduardo Rose approaching the first turn. Regal Memphis raced wide in the home straight.
