Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Seabrook Dill.
Stewards spoke to Mrs Miller, the representative of Two Mississippi regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Two Mississippi last raced on 9th July 2018. Mrs Miller stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being seasonal.
Mexican Ned, Don Quixote and Myrtle Grange collided and checked soon after the start. Mask, Gold Attraction and Seabrook Dill collided approaching the first turn, checking Gold Attraction and Seabrook Dill. Mexican Ned, Gold Attraction and Seabrook Dill collided approaching the home turn, checking Gold Attraction and Don Quixote. Gold Attraction and Don Quixote colllided on the home turn. Myrtle Grange raced wide entering the home straight. Don Quixote and Gold Attraction collided in the home staright.
Two Mississippi was vetted and after being re-vetted following event race 6, it was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist sprain, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
Myrtle Grange was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
