Stewards spoke to Mrs Miller, the representative of Two Mississippi regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Two Mississippi last raced on 9th July 2018. Mrs Miller stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being seasonal.

Two Mississippi was vetted and after being re-vetted following event race 6, it was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist sprain, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Kintamani, You're Welcome and Avatar Witch collided soon after the start, checking You're Welcome, Avatar Witch and Still In Play. Tiwala Twist checked off Kintamani in the back straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr R. Gladman handler of Still In Play regarding his late arrival at the kennels to retrieve the greyhound for its engagement. Acting under GAR 46 (2)  Stewards fined Mr Gladman's the sum of $100, and taking into account evidence presented suspended the fine for a period of three months.

Stewards spoke to Mrs P. Patterson, the trainer of the greyhound Perplexing regarding the greyhounds racing manners in home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Perplexing with marring.  Mrs Patterson pleaded guilty to the charge, Perplexing was found guilty and suspended for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.

Top Alcohol was quick to begin.
