Buckle Up Leo was slow to begin.
Full Moon, Golden Romance and Zippy Zuri collided soon after the start. Golden Romance checked off Buckle Up Leo on the first turn causing Golden Romance to contact the running rail. Bigtime Bruce and Zippy Zuri collided approaching the home turn severely checking Zippy Zuri. Buckle Up Leo and Bigtime Bruce collided approaching the home turn.
Stewards spoke to Mr A. Andrews regarding the direction that the greyhound Zippy Zuri be boxed first. Acting under GAR 52(2) Stewards directed that this box first be removed.
