A pre-race sample was taken from Buddy's Entity.
Dewana Be Sure, Dewana Jayden and Buddy's Entity were quick to begin. Bejarano were slow to begin.
Dewana Jayden and Buddy's Entity collided soon after the start. Dewana Hand checked off It's A Thrill approaching the first turn. Buddy's Entity and Wears Woodleigh collided approaching the first tun checking Wears Woodleigh. Buddy's Entity, Bejarano and Wears Woodleigh collided on the first turn checking Buddy's Entity, Bejarano, Wears Woodleigh, It's A Thrill, Sooki La Rico and Dewana Hand. Sooki La Rico, Bejarano and Buddy's Entity collided on the first turn checking Sooki La Rico. Buddy's Entity, Dewana Jayden and It's A Thrill collided on the first turn checking Dewana Jayden, Dewana Hand and Wears Woodleigh. Sooki La Rico and Dewana Hand collided on the third turn severely checking Sooki La Rico.

Stewards spoke to Ms J. Fothergill, trainer of Buddy's Entity regarding the greyhound’s racing manner in the home straigh. Ms Fothergill said she was happy with the greyhound’s performance and didn't expect to win tonight. Stewards viewed all available footage and took no further action.
