Ohana Lad was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained neck muscle soreness, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to the trainer of Ohana Lad Mr R. Floyd regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Mr Floyd stated that he believed the greyhound performed to the best of its ability throughout  the event running within a few lengths of the best time it had previously recorded at the track.   When questioned in relation to appearing to lose slight ground prior to suffering interference from behind,  Mr Floyd further stated he believed the interference his greyhound received from “Friend in Me“ on its outside, caused it to lose the ground as they approached the home turn.  Stewards considered Mr Floyd’s submissions and took no further action.

Startron was quick to begin.  Black Shirley was slow to begin.  Black Shirley checked off Fairy Vixen approaching the first turn.  Dr. Eleonora and Fairy Vixen collided approaching the first turn checking Dr. Eleonora.  Dr. Eleonora checked off Dr. Walter approaching the home turn.  Harvey Warbanger and Fairy Vixen collided entering the home straight checking Harvey Warbanger.

Cosmic Collinda and Lakeview Maisey were slow to begin.  Wild Angel, Merchant Prince and Able Bess collided on the first turn checking Wild Angel, Cosmic Colinda and Able Bess.  Cosmic Colinda and Able Bess collided on the home turn.  Lakeview Maisey raced wide approaching the home turn, on the home turn and into the home straight.

What's Up Skip was quick to begin.  Dr. Shreds and Straitline Willy were slow to begin.  Straitline Willy and Sweet Spolly collided approaching the first turn.  Sneak Preview marred What's Up Skip in the home straight.  What's Up Skip and Sneak Preview collided several times approaching the winning post checking both greyhounds.

Sneak Preview was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the rear left webbing, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Martinovic, the trainer of the greyhound Sneak Preview regarding the greyhound's racing manners in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Sneak Preview with marring.  Mr. Martinovic pleaded not guilty to the charge,  Sneak Preview was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sale and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Walk Woody Walk was slow to begin.  Another Shiner was very slow to begin (5 lengths).  Sapphire Power and Philo Bale collided on the first turn checking Philo Bale and Walk Woody Walk.  Another Shiner faltered on the second turn and pulled up.  Sapphire Power and Walk Woody Walk collided entering the home straight.

Another Shiner was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right stifle injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Akina Daisy was slow to begin.  Tolga checked off Cee Jay Ace soon after the start.  Dr. Dedra, Dr. Leonardo and Krypto Jam collided on the first turn checking Dr. Leonardo.  Cee Jay Ace and Krypto Jam collided on the first turn checking Krypto Jam.

Where's Lachie and Mepunga Billy were slow to begin.  Secret Message, Where's Lachie, Maverick Typhoon and Dr. Yanma collided on the first turn checking Secret Message, Lucy Gem, Maverick Typhoon, Where's Lachie and Vivian Shiraz.
