Stewards spoke to Mr. Sargon Kando, the trainer of Coco Bongo regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Coco Bongo last raced on 10th July 2018. Mr Kando stated that greyhound was returning from a left shoulder injury. Mr. Kando, also declared a new weight of 26.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Coco Bango last raced at 25.2kg.

Fabulous Cash and Galway Icon were slow to begin.

Lil' Miss Willow was very slow to begin (4L).

Morpheus, Arachnophobia and Perplexing collided on the first turn checking Arachnophobia and Perplexing. Arachnophobia and Perplexing collided on the home turn and again in the home straight.

Brittany's Angel was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left back muscle injury. A stand down period of 60 days was imposed.

Fess Crockett and Fawn Regrets collided approaching the first turn. Aqualite checked off Ball Bearing on the first turn checking Aqualite.

Aqualite was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left monkey muscle. A stand down period of 14 days was imposed.

Ball Bearing was vetted following a collision in the catching pen. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

The start of this event was delayed by 1.5 minutes to hold for a Hoosier harness race.

Stewards spoke to Mr. M. Hendy, the trainer of the greyhound Hillbilly Boy regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight.  Hillbilly Boy was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right wrist, a small abrasion to the both metatarsal and a small spike wound to the right metacarpal, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Hillbilly Boy with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. M. Hendy pleaded guilty to the charge, Hillbilly Boy was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr. Vincent Mileto, the trainer of Anton Flash regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Anton Flash  last raced on 21st June 2018. Mr. Mileto stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after an illness.

Mia Amour and Anton Flash were slow to begin.

Bela Natali was very slow to begin (3L).

Bushman's Destiny and Master Brett collided soon after the start. No Sugar checked off Master Brett on the first turn checking No Sugar. Arlecchino lost ground in the home straight.

Arlecchino was vetted following the event it was reported that the greyhound was found to have suffered cramp. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr D.Basile, the trainer of the greyhound Arlecchino.  Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (Cramp), Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a Satisfactory Trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
