An Out of Competition Sample was taken from Crossfire Icon engaged in this event on 20 July 2018, pursuant to GAR 79A.
A pre-race sample was taken from Middle Trucker.
Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade Steward, K Newport did not act in any official capacity for this event.
The start of this event was delayed by approximately one and a half minutes, due to holding for a Melton harness race.
It's A Thrill was quick to begin. Voluptuous Ruby and Han Solo collided soon after the start, checking Voluptuous Ruby. La Bamba Icon and Lilywhites collided soon after the start, checking Lilywhites. Crossfire Icon and Python Pride collided soon after the start. Crossfire Icon and Python Pride collided approaching the first turn. It's A Thrill and Crossfire Icon collided in the back straight.
