A pre-race sample was taken from Don't Trust.
Buzz Rash, Aston Hinkley and Ends Well were quick to begin. Aston Tobin was slow to begin. Aston Hinkley crossed out soon after the start checking Ends Well. Don't Trust and Siver Lightning collided approaching the second turn. Our Delta Rose and Aston Hinkley collided approaching the second turn checking Our Delta Rose. Siver Lightning was checked off Don't Trust in the back straight.
Siver Lightning was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards issued a warning to Mr. S. Sinclair the representative for Siver Lightning regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the second turn.
