Steward's Report
The start of this event was delayed approximately one minute due to the squeaker being replaced on the lure.
A pre-race sample was taken from Diego Fernando.
Diego Fernando was slow to begin.
Diego Fernando and Pandora's Proof bumped approaching the first turn on two occasions checking both greyhounds. Spritely Brew and Arnie Allen collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Spritely Brew. Dorset Dasha and Dyna Bella collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Dyna Bella. Spritely Brew contacted the running rail on the first turn and lost ground.
Spritely Brew was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle and left chest injuries, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.
