Keep On Runnin' was slow to begin. Coconut Gloria, Lingard and Black Torino collided approaching the first turn. Shorty George galloped on the heels of Coconut Gloria on the first turn, checking Shorty George and Keep On Runnin', and severely checking Coconut Gloria.
