Steward's Report
The start of this event was re-scheduled to 10.30pm.
A pre-race sample was taken from Alabar.
Alabar was quick to begin. Dyna Winkler and Mahjong World were slow to begin. Kimani and Kalani Amy collided soon after the start. Kimani was checked off Wilburn on the first turn. Dyna Winkler and Mahjong World collided approaching the home turn. Weeona Paul and Kimani collided on the home turn checking Kimani. Kylo Ren cramped on the home turn and lost ground in the home straight.
Kylo Ren was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Ms. K. Houlahan the trainer of the greyhound Kylo Ren. Acting in accordance with GAR 71(cramp) Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a satisfactory trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
