Chinookan Blue, Taabi and Dyna Gabba were slow to begin. Queen Of Meereen and Taabi collided approaching the first turn, checking Queen Of Meereen. Queen Of Meereen and Taabi collided on the first turn. Geller Allen and Kaylin collided on the first turn. Geller Allen and Chinookan Blue raced wide approaching the home turn, and collided heavily entering the home straight. Usara Allen raced wide on the home turn. Chinookan Blue checked off the heels of Geller Allen in the home straight. Taabi checked off the heels of Queen Of Meereen in the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Crawford, the trainer of the greyhound Chinookan Blue regarding the greyhounds racing manners entering the home straight. Chinookan Blue was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left wrist, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Chinookan Blue with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Crawford pleaded guilty to the charge, Chinookan Blue was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr. J.Collins, the trainer of Dyna Gabba regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing.

Go Jotto and Zipping Megan were quick to begin. Wise Lewis was slow to begin. Quick Session checked off the heels of Wanna Allen approaching the first turn. Quick Session raced wide approaching the home turn and collided with Wise Lewis. In The Net and Zipping Megan collided approaching the home turn.

Dyna Penny and Arma Rapida were quick to begin. Smash Flash, Hayley's Style and Winlock Dyno were slow to begin. Crackerjack Nath checked off the heels of Why Not Maxine approaching the second turn, and collided with Main One, causing both greyhounds to race wide. Why Not Maxine checked off the heels of Limburg Gunna entering the back straight. Why Not Maxine checked off Main One entering the home straight.

No Excuse, Soda Flash and Fat Rhino were slow to begin. Just Curious checked off Sisco Dun soon after the start. Oshkosh Uni Chet, Just Curious, Why Not Grace and No Excuse collided on the first turn, checking Just Curious, Why Not Grace and No Excuse, Why Not Grace and No Excuse raced wide as a result. Slingshot Maxi and Fat Rhino raced wide on the home turn. 

Rocky Ravioli, Cruisy's Lil, Rellim Diesel and Kiss Me Nicki collided soon after the start, checking Cruisy's Lil and Kiss Me Nicki. Gomez Sanchez, Rocky Ravioli and Lylah's Way raced wide on the home turn. Lylah's Way crossed the heels of Gomez Sanchez in the home straight.

Mepunga Kyran and My Mandara were quick to begin. Super Tokachi, Speedy Scar and Reign of Omar collided soon after the start. Anustar, Super Tokachi and Speedy Scar collided approaching the first turn, checking Super Tokachi. Mepunga Kyran crossed to the rail on the first turn, checking My Mandara. Super Tokachi and Bee Rose collided entering the home straight. Speedy Scar and Reign Of Omar collided in the home straight.

Sabjorn Bale, Tiggerlong Rock and Winlock Strecker were quick to begin. Dum Didee Dum was slow to begin. Sabjorn Bale and Saintly Jack collided soon after the start. Tiggerlong Rock and July Allen collided approaching the first turn, checking both greyhounds. Dum Didee Dum and Saintly Jack collided heavily on the home turn. Mr. M Davis, trainer of Miss Blue, declared a new weight of 29.6kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Miss Blue last raced at 30.7kg.
