Cheers To That was very slow to begin (3 Lengths). Hard Man Chapta and Happy Allen collided approaching the first turn, checking Happy Allen. Irish Swagger and Manila Mist collided on the first turn, checking Irish Swagger. Major Style checked off Blackwater Girl approaching the home turn. Happy Allen veered out and marred the running of Hard Man Chapta approaching the home turn, and again on the home turn, checking both greyhounds. Manila Mist and Blackwater Girl collided in the home straight. Hard Man Chapta and Happy Allen raced wide in the home straight.
Happy Allen was vetted following the event.It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Ms. Tammy Kennedy-Harris, the representative of the greyhound Happy Allen regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn and on the home turn. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Happy Allen with marring. Ms. Kennedy-Harris pleaded guilty to the charge, Happy Allen was found guilty and suspended for 3 months (all tracks) and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(b), before any future nomination will be accepted.
