Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to M. Tabb, the trainer of Blackpool Shaz regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Blackpool Shaz last raced on 3rd May 2018. Mr Tabb stated that the greyhound was resuming from an achillies injury.
A pre race sample was taken from Blackpool Shaz.
Rusty The Jett, Liebig Street and Kiss Me Marday collided soon after the start, checking Liebig Street. Liebig Street checked off It's Magic on the first turn. Blackpool Shaz, Gin Lee's Bullet and Arma Rapida collided on the first turn, checking Arma Rapida. It's Magic checked off Arma Rapida approaching the home turn. Liebig Street and It's Magic collided approaching the home turn, checking Liebig Street.
Liebig Street was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right shoulder and both groins, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
