Steward's Report
Steward spoke to Mr John Magri, the trainer of Blackpool Donny regarding the greyhound's bona fides (GAR 25). Blackpool Donny was transferred into Mr Magri's kennel on 11 May 2018 from Michelle Mallia-Magri's kennel. Stewards inquired into the reason behind the transfer of trainer, Mr Magri stated that they used the transfer to avoid being drawn into the same race. Stewards noted the explanation and advised that the situation would be monitored.
A pre race sample was taken from Blackpool Donny.
Reign Of Omar and Cee Righty were slow to begin. Serendipity Gold, Kentucky Sun, Paraphernalia and Cee Righty collided approaching the first turn, checking all four greyhounds. Kentucky Sun checked off Serendipity Gold on the first turn, checking Paraphernalia and Cee Righty. Kentucky Sun, Paraphernalia and Cee Righty collided approaching the home turn, checking Kentucky Sun and Paraphernalia. Serendipity Gold raced wide entering the home straight. Pyrenees Petraca and Reign Of Omar collided several times in the home straight.
