Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. B. Weis, the trainer of Xtreme Rush regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Extreme Rush last race on 24th January, 2018. Mr. Weis stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right hock injury.
Kiss Me Marday crossed to the rail soon after the start, checking Right Said Frank and Xtreme Rush. Right Said Frank, Shannah's Gift and Scott Pizzazz collided on the first turn, checking Shannah's Gift and Scott Pizzazz. Lucky Omar checked off Kiss Me Marday on the home turn.
Xtreme Rush was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right triangle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.
Satisfactory Trial Results (Blinkers) - Inga Ross trialled over the 450m from box five, weight 33.3kg, the greyhound was placed second in a field of four. The time of the trial was 25.87, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of four lengths. Inga Ross was cleared to race without blinkers.
