Tiggerlong Cruz was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left hind paw,  5 day stand down period was imposed.

Fast Freddie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right groin injury, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Critic and Onya Grover were slow to begin.

Iris Allen crossed to the rail approaching the first turn checking Flash Apollo.  Critic severely checked off  Onya Teddy approaching the second turn causing Critic to contact the running rail as a result.  Onya Teddy and Destini Mermaid collided on the second turn.  Onya Grover raced wide in the home straight.

Critic was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an abrasion to the left hind paw pad and injuries to the right shoulder and left track leg, a 5 day stand down period  was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Dalton, the trainer of Bar King Buddy regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Bar King Buddy last raced on 14th October, 2017.  Mr. Dalton stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a left stopper injury.

Clover Lad was slow to begin.  Bar King Buddy checked off Why Not Archie approaching the first turn.  Monaro Joe, Why Not Archie and Belena Surf collided on the first turn severely checking Belena Surf and Monaro Joe, Monaro Joe stumbled as a result.  Clover Lad crossed to the rail approaching the home turn checking Remain Seated, Sachi and Swift Trent  Why Not Archie and Sachi collided on the home turn checking Why Not Archie.

Monaro Joe was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the tail base, right calf and right thigh, a 5 stand down period was imposed.

Media Street was slow to begin.

Don's Machine checked off Brazilian Brae approaching the first turn.  Tiggerlong Rock checked off Tiggerlong Nosey on the first turn.  Tiggerlong Rock and Ruby Rads collided approaching the home turn checking Ruby Rads.  Tiggerlong Rock and Dyna Denver collided on the home turn.  Tiggerlong Rock and Ruby Rads collided in the home straight.

Amari and Mask were slow to begin.

Amari crossed to the rail soon after the start.  Seabrook Eb, Amari, Lost Blue and Two Mississippi collided in the first turn checking Lost Blue and Two Mississippi.  Amari checked off Seabrook Eb approaching the home turn checking Billy Bart and Mahjong Baby.  Seabrook Eb and Billy Bart collided on the home turn.  Two Mississippi checked off Billy Bart in the home straight.

Billy Bart was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a back injury. A stand down period of 5 days was imposed.

Krazy Blaze was a late scratching at 8.51am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr. K. Quinn was fined the sum of $100.

Slipaway Bolt was a late scratching at 11.48am on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to injury - abrasion to right foreleg.  A  21 day stand down period was imposed.

Wings For Woody and Turbo Tom collided approaching the first turn.  Doran's Call, Vanda Mick and Hammer Head collided on the first turn chedcking Vanda Mick and Hammer Head.  Pomp Fiction, Wings For Woody and Turbo Tom collided on the first turn severely checking Wings For Woody which fell and severely checking Hammer Head as a result.  Pomp Fiction, Destini Pegasus and Turbo Tom collided approaching the home turn checking Destini Pegasus and severely checking Turbo Tom.  Hammer Head raced wide on the home turn.

Wings For Woody was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the neck, both groin muscles and bruising to the left hind metatarsals. A  5 day stand down period was imposed.
