A pre-race sample was taken from Tail Inspector.
Promiscuous was quick to begin. Tail Inspector, Zipping Spud and Qatar Girl were slow to begin. Promiscuous, Rocketing Ruby and Qatar Girl collided on the first turn checking Rocketing Ruby. Rocketing Ruby clipped the heels of Qatar Girl approaching the home turn. Zipping Spud and Bags of Bucks collided in the home straight and again approaching the winning post.
