A pre race sample was taken from Blue Addiction.
Aston Liesel was quick to begin. Aston Olivia and You Never Know were slow to begin. Ninetymile Hawk and Sure Load collided on the first turn. Chances checked off You Never Know on the first turn checking Blue Addiction and Aston Olivia. Sure Load raced wide on the home turn causing Ninetymile Hawk to race wide. Chances lost ground on the home turn. Chances and Blue Addiction raced wide in the home straight.
Chances was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right front dew claw injury, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
