It's Debatable was checked off Brandeen Fi in the back straight. Scooby Boy galloped on Heza Gem in the back straight, checking both greyhounds. Heza Gem was checked off Big Skeeta in the back straight. Scooby Boy, Soon Now and Heza Gem collided on the second turn checking Scooby Boy and Heza Gem. Heza Gem was checked off Scooby Boy entering the home straight.
Stewards spoke to Mr. J. Telling regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound Heza Gem, Mr. Telling stated that the greyhound kicked back while he was trying to place it in the boxes and then felt that after the starter and others attempted to assist, it made it slightly more difficult for him. Stewards noted his explanation and directed that Heza Gem be boxed first in future events. Stewards will advise the starter that he is the only person to render assistance with difficult to box greyhounds in accordance with GAR 51(6).
